Moving Beyond the Binary: Deconstructing Gender and Gendered Language in Canada

Remedying gender inequity continues to be a crucial area for Canadians as we continue to take bold actions to close gender gaps, eliminate gender stereotypes and dismantle the gender binary.

Advancing gender equity in Canada not only requires closing the gaps between men and women, we need to focus on how to deconstruct the gender binary. In order to achieve real change this work needs to meet, include and uphold the needs and rights of all genders. Join us for a discussion about how to revolutionize the way in which we understand and communicate gender.

This is your opportunity to connect and build relationships with organizations across Canada doing this important work.

Together, we can eliminate industry silos and regional disconnect, creating a collaborative and unified network working to advance gender equity from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

Guiding questions for the roundtable discussions will be circulated after registration.

This event will be presented in English with simultaneous translation available in French.
