Around the globe recently there has been a backlash against the progress on rights for trans people. Join us for a conversation with local and global trans leaders from Canada and abroad for an important discussion on responses to anti-trans movements.

Join us for an important discussion on building global solidarity with movements for transgender rights
and how activists are pushing back against anti-trans forces. We’ll explore the state of the movement
today and what people can do to support human rights for trans people around the world.

Fae Johnstone (from Wisdom 2 Action in Canada) will lead a discussion with Mauro Cabral Grinspan (Executive Director, GATE, the global trans rights organization), Jabu Pereira (Iranti, South Africa), Morgan Page (Stonewall UK), Mariah Rafaela da Silva (Grupo Conexão G for LGBT Citizenship, Brazil), and kēr, a trans activist from Regina, Treaty 4 Territory.
