Equal Futures 2023 Community Dialogue

In June 2022, we hosted Equal Futures 2022: A Gender Equality Summit, bringing together over 200 champions for gender equality from communities across Canada. Our inaugural summit saw the gender equality movement build connections, strengthen capacity and share expertise. Building off its success, Equal Futures 2023 will take place in Whitehorse, on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, from May 17 to 18 2023.

As we design and prepare programming, we want to hear from you! This community dialogue will provide the opportunity for us to engage with your ideas for the summit: What panel sessions are you interested in? Who do you want to hear as a speaker? How can we best design a summit that supports you and your organization? Join us on Instagram Live @EqualFuturesCA for a community dialogue on January 11 from 12.30 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST.

The dialogue will begin with a brief overview of the summit and be followed by an open dialogue where we encourage you to share takeaways from Equal Futures 2022 and what you want to see at Equal Futures 2023.

The dialogue will be held in both English and French, and we encourage you to share your comments and insights in your preferred language during the Instagram Live. Following the dialogue, a recording will be shared across our social media channels. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
