Emerging Equity Leaders

We are so excited to invite you to our Equality X EDGE speaker panel on emerging equity leaders where our speakers will discuss their past experiences and how they were able to overcome systemic barriers in order for them to reach where they are in their professional lives today.

The goal for this event is that students learn and gain insight into different critical skills that may potentially help them one day if they were to encounter an experience that revolves around these topics which prohibits them from reaching their full potential in their professional work environments.

Our hope is that through these different guest speakers students will gain a solid understanding of the importance of perseverance and overcoming systemic barriers and different forms of inequality no matter how daunting they may appear. The event will be taking place on February 18th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm! The event will be taking place online so remember to RSVP on our Eventbrite ASAP! Zoom link will be sent closer to the event.
