2022 Virtual ViaYOUTH Summit through Reconnection & Respect

A journey of reconnection to self, to others and to the earth.

Led by a talented and energized team of diverse youth – the mission of the 2022 ViaYOUTH Summit is to craft an engaging and interactive event experience for 25 young people from across Canada, in the signature style of Motivate Canada;

Designed through extensive consultation with youth across Canada, the theme of “Reconnect & Respect” emerged. Utilizing our model of Youth Driven Development (YDD) the summit has been developed by youth for youth.

The main topics covered this year will be as follows:

1. Communication & Relations: The importance of empathizing with the struggles of others as well as engaging in respectful conversations with individuals with differences of opinions.
2. Our Mental Health Journey: Exploring Motivate Canada’s approach to Mental Health and discussions around individual journeys, experiences in mental health wellness.
3. Community Engagement (in a post COVID world): Engaging in community post COVID, what does that look like?
4. State of the Climate – What can we do?: Activism, Advocacy, Allyship

The programming content will merge motivational speakers, group activities and break-out discussions to create an online experience that will unite delegates around a common vision for healthier and more vibrant communities – starting with their own journey.
