You are invited to Hackergal’s 10th National Hackathon!

The Hackergal Hackathon Program is a national movement of girls in grades 6-9 collectively changing the face of computer science and striving to close the gender gap in technology. You are invited to join our week-long Hackathon experience – it’s totally free and totally digital! Live events run daily from June 4th-June 11th, 2021!

What can you look forward to?

Day 1: Live Kick-off Event

Friday, June 4, 12:00-1:00pm EST

A must-do! Hackergal will unveil an exciting line-up of speakers, share more about the surprise Hackathon theme, and announce giveaways!

Day 2-4: Planning & Researching

Saturday, June 5 to Monday, June 7 (All day)

Time to tap into your creativity! Use this time to plan your project and explore the theme.

DAY 5: Women in Tech Career Carousel Event

Tuesday, June 8 , 3:00-4:00pm EST

Women in Technology Career Carousel. This is your chance to meet the pros! Drop-in booths will be hosted by inspirational women in the tech industry from a variety of roles.

DAY 6: Webinar Wednesday

Wednesday, June 9, 3:00-6:00pm EST

Coding & Graphic Design Webinars If you haven’t already, start coding your project and designing your graphics. Come join coding webinars to get help along the way!

  • Creative Coding: 3:00-4:00pm EST
  • Graphic Design: 4:00-5:00pm EST
  • Drop-In Q&A: 5:00pm-6:00pm EST

DAY 7: Tech Trivia Night Event

Thursday, June 10, 6:00-7:00pm EST

Hackergal Tech Trivia Night: It’s time to clean up those pesky bugs and finish your project! At the end of the day, blow off some stress @ Trivia Night.

DAY 8: Hackathon Celebration Party!

Friday, June 11,12:00-1:00pm EST

Join our live Closing Celebration & Submission Party! Time to wrap-up the Hackathon with our BIG final event! Submit your project and let’s celebrate!
