The Equal Futures Network is excited to announce our partnership with Criterion Institute as a part of Equal Futures 2023: A Gender Equality Summit.

Criterion Institute is a non-profit think tank that works with social change makers to demystify finance and push new thinking to influence financial systems. Since 2002, Criterion has fostered powerful and inclusive conversations, inviting everyone to re-imagine the possibilities of financial systems.

We are excited that Criterion Institute is hosting two sessions during the Equal Futures Summit:

  • On May 17, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose room at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre (KDCC), participate in an information session about Criterion’s two decades of work with partners to design financial solutions that promote social justice, gender equality, and economic development goals. Presenters will share insights from Criterion’s newly published report, Fostering a Feminist Financial Imagination. This session will also be live streamed for our virtual participants.
  • May 18 from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Multipurpose room at the KDCC join an in-depth and practical workshop where presenters will introduce participants to Criterion’s TOOLKIT methodology. This approach utilizes a framework of five strategies for using finance for social change, creating a bridge between the worlds of gender equality and finance.

We can’t wait to connect you with Criterion Institute and continue the important work of promoting gender equality and social justice through financial systems.
