Women in Politics

This panel aims to explore and celebrate the contributions of Canadian-Muslim women in politics, addressing the unique challenges they face and the strategies they employ to overcome them. It will also emphasize the significance of civic engagement among youth, women, and Muslims globally, highlighting various intersectionalities and the importance of diverse representation in political spheres. By convening experienced female politicians, activists, and scholars, this panel will offer insights into pathways to political involvement and the impact of Muslim women’s leadership on policy and community development.
