Trans Day of Remembrance

Also known as the International Transgender Day of Remembrance, Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is observed each year on November 20th to remember those who have been lost as a result of transphobia worldwide, as well as draw attention to the issue of transphobia and the violence that ensues as a result.

The Canadian Centre for Gender & Sexual Diversity has assembled a list of vigils and events across the country being held to mark the Transgender Day of Remembrance. Click on your province or territory to find an event near you. Unless otherwise noted, all events take place on Sunday, November 20th 2022.
