The Power of Intersecting Identities

This workshop, only for Black 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, explores the powerful ways in which our mental health and wellness are impacted by how our Blackness intersects with other parts of our identity. In this workshop, by mapping our identities according to the ways in which we experience blackness, gender, social class, family life, ability, and religion, we will gain deeper collective understanding into how we are each impacted by the current sociopolitical context and what tools are available for us to resist and relate to others.
