The Boards Role in Sustainability

Board directors everywhere are trying to address the new challenges that environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities present to them. One of the largest is monitoring and measuring performance as it relates to climate change. With new climate-related disclosure regulations and laws rapidly approaching in the US (SEC), Europe and other countries, board directors must learn, and quickly, how and what to measure and track to avoid accusations of greenwashing.

We are so excited to invite you to join our next BRW event on Tuesday, October 18th, from 4 to 7 pm (MST). We are hosting this workshop both in-person and virtually. In-person registration starts at 4:00 pm, with the workshop starting at 4:30 pm.

Competent Boards is giving away a seat in their upcoming ESG Lite Program to one outstanding professional to deepen their knowledge of ESG in a condensed program (value of CAD$ 2,180). Board Ready Women will be drawing the name of one BRW member during the workshop. (Must be a member of BRW Network, BRW Mentor or Corporate member to qualify for the draw.)
