Pride & Progress: Celebrating Black History

Happy Black History Month! 🎉

Join us on February 17th from 3-6pm in Watson Lake for an afternoon of shared learning and celebrate the intertwined histories of the Black and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities! “Pride & Progress: Celebrating Black History” is an education focused event that aims to inspire participants to forge an inclusive and equitable future.

Uncover powerful activist movements, explore key historical figures, and dive into movements advocating for civil rights and equality. Join us in celebrating resilience, triumphs, and foster solidarity. Queer Yukon Watson Lake is located on the first floor of the Northern Lights Center, 807 Frank Trail.
