International Women’s Day event: Creating a cycle of inclusion panel discussion

International Women’s Day was first celebrated in March 1911, and since then, the world has mobilized to celebrate and advocate for women and femme-identifying folks to advance equitable rights. This year’s themes, Inspire Inclusion and Invest in Women, provide us an opportunity to reflect upon the ways in which women and femme-identifying folks have been left out of the conversation. Join us for this panel where we will discuss the cycle of inclusion – how having women at the forefront of issues, like climate change and in medical settings, has proven more successful at sustainable and lasting change by implementing policies that benefit the broader community. We will also be looking at the ways in which holistic approaches to women’s health empowers women and femme-identifying folks to engage more with issues in a world created by men, for men.

Featuring speakers Bryanna Brown & Dr. Charity Au, ND.
