Designing Digital Dialogues Lunch and Learn: JEDI Foundations: Exploring power, privilege and identity

Join the On Canada Project on Wednesday, November 9, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST to dive into the insights from Designing Digital Dialogues Module 1, JEDI Foundations, with Gina Uppal and DJ Otou.

In this Lunch and Learn, we will reflect on why it is critical for us to begin our communications strategy from a place of self-understanding. You can expect an interactive activity on power and privilege that builds on the coursework, and breakout rooms that help you reflect and integrate with other community leaders. We will also brainstorm ways our teams can use these insights to inform the design of communications campaigns and engage communities online.

We recommend having completed Module 1 from the Designing Digital Dialogues toolkit before this session to be able to share your reflections with other participants and ask our facilitators any questions.

Please note that due to the interactive nature of this session, it will only be hosted in English at this time. A series of lunch and learn sessions facilitated in French will take place in early 2023. If you have any questions, please contact us at efn-rae@CanWaCH.ca.
