2 Spirit Community Wellness Gathering

Join us this Saturday in Beaver Hills House Park!

Edmonton 2 Spirit Society is partnering with the City of Edmonton to offer wellness and ceremonial offerings July 30th open to Indigenous community members, offer healing related to the papal visit to amiskwaciwâskahikan. Our intention is to centre Two Spirit wellness by providing community wellness and ceremonial access to Two Spirit Elders, ceremony carriers, and medicine providers or those who are inclusive of our community.

A sacred fire will be lit and kept for the duration of our gathering. We will start with a public breakfast at 10AM. From 11AM to 5PM Elders and Knowledge Keepers will offer their services to community members, E2S is providing protocol on behalf of all members and guest. We will have a Two Spirit pipe ceremony at 1PM and the Two Spirit Healing Bundle will be present. Our feast will begin once the pipe ceremony ends. We will have Two Spirit Drag Show at 6PM to celebrate Indigenous joy.
