Intersectional Perspectives: Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of People with Disabilities

On December 3, 2021 – International Day of People with Disabilities, join the Equal Futures Network and l‘Institut National pour l’Équité l’Égalité l’Inclusion des personnes en situation de handicap (INÉÉI-PSH) for a dynamic panel discussion on the needs and intersecting barriers that people living with disabilities face when it comes to their sexual health and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) both globally and within Canada.

Setting the stage for the discussion will be a presentation from INÉÉI-PSH board member and researcher Muriel Mac-Seing‘s who will present her research results from her project on SRHR for people living with disabilities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Following this presentation, we will contextualize this in a Canadian context and take a closer look at the intersections of SRHR and people living with disabilities in Canada, specifically in Quebec.

Joining us for this discussion will be key decision-makers, government bodies, organizations working with people living with disabilities, in SRHR and other key stakeholders.

*Please note this event will take place in French. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English and LSQ.

*Please contact us at EFN-RAE@CanWaCH.ca if you would like to request any additional accommodations.
